Designated disabled permit parking is located in signed areas in all parking lots. In the Terminal garages disabled parking is on the same levels as the entrances to the buildings where arrivals and departures are located on level with the upper and lower roadways. Disabled permit parking in the one hour areas may be utilized for long term parking as long as the vehicle displays a disabled parking tag or license plate. Disabled parking is available in all parking garages, express and remote lots. Due to TSA and height restrictions garages at some terminals are not
van accessible. Express and remote lots are served by accessible shuttle busses which are equipped with wheelchair lifts. DFW Airport Valet
parking is also available at the terminals.

DFW offers visual paging in addition to audible paging for our guest with hearing impairments. Visual paging is available by contacting the Airport Operations Center at 972 973 3112.
Public TTY Telephones
DFW has TTY telephones throughout the terminals located at the public pay telephone banks. Signage is located throughout the terminals to assist in locating pay telephones.
All restrooms located throughout the terminals are fully accessible to travelers with disabilities. Unisex toilet rooms equipped for the disabled are also available throughout the terminals and are located adjacent to the accessible men’s and women’s toilet rooms. Look for the internationally recognized disabled symbol.
Service Animal Relief Areas
DFW Airport has service animal and pet relief areas located at various locations throughout the airport as follows.
Designated area located on the lower level, outside security at gates D15 and D29.
Terminals A, B, C and E
Designated grassy areas located on the lower level outside security.

- Terminal B: Gate B5, Gate B39
- Terminal C: Gate C2, Gate C39
- Terminal E: Gate E2, Gate E38
Service animals and pets are required to be on a leash at all times when visiting DFW Airport.
Should your service animal need to step outside between flights, feel free to visit one of the designated areas listed above; however, please note that your boarding pass and ID will be required for re-entry into the Airport. TSA checkpoints close at 10:00 p.m., so we urge you and your pet to stay on the secure side after that time.
Wheelchair service is offered through your air carrier upon request. To ensure availability and timely service, it is strongly recommended that this service be reserved in advance. However, wheelchair assistance may also be requested at airline ticket counters.
Security measures at DFW
restrict public access beyond passenger screening points to ticketed passengers only. However, the individual airline may grant permission for persons with special needs to be accompanied by a health care assistant or guardian. If someone wishes to accompany an elderly or disabled person to or from an aircraft gate, they must obtain permission from the airline.
If traveling through DFW Airport and you must make connections between airlines or terminals the DFW Skylink train offers the shortest way to make connections. Skylink trains are fully accessible. Each train provides wheelchair spaces as well as seating for our guests with mobility impairments. Each Skylink station is served by elevators as well as escalators. The Skylink train system is located on the secure side of all terminals eliminating the need to pass through security screening for connecting passengers.
The Consolidated Rental Car facility is accessed by shuttle bus from all terminals. All shuttle busses are equipped with wheelchair ramps. Also all shuttle busses have the ability to kneel or lower for easier access. Please ask the driver to “kneel” the bus.

Taxi service is available on the upper level of Terminals A, B, C and E, and on the lower level of Terminal D.
An Airport Guest Assistant will be available at the taxi stands between 8:00 AM and midnight. Between midnight and 8:00 AM, dial 972 574 5878 to request a taxi.
