DFW Airport continues to be the premiere international gateway in the U.S., offering travelers an extensive route network all over the world, with nonstop service to 58 international destinations.
The new 2014 year holds lots of exciting additions to the Airport. Just some of those additions are new international destinations passengers can add to their travel planner for the year.
DFW welcomed two new routes from American Airlines: Bogota, Colombia and Roatan, Honduras, with nonstop service that started on November 21, 2013. Book your tickets now on aa.com. and with flights in less than 6 hours, you can explore Central and South America.
Adding to the excitement, DFW Airport recently announced more international service to begin later in the year. If China, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Caada are in your travel plans, or on your bucket list for places to see, look no further!
American Airlines recently announced DFW’s first services to Hong Kong and Shanghai, just in time for the Chinese New Year. Hong Kong and Shanghai services will begin later this summer, providing more convenience to passengers by connecting them to destinations all over Asia.
For those wanting to venture north to Canada, American Airlines will also begin service to Edmonton, Canada (YEG) in April. Details will be announced soon.
Additionally, for those wanting to escape for the summer and explore the Middle East, Qatar Airways announced new daily international service from DFW Airport to Doha, Qatar, starting on July 1, 2014.
Etihad Airways will also begin international service from DFW to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, starting on Dec. 3, 2014, right in time for the holidays. With these added services, travelers have the convenience of reaching other destinations in India, Africa and Asia.
