DFW AIRPORT, Texas (JAN 22, 2025)
The volunteers dressed in gray and bright orange – you’ve seen them around, waved at them, and maybe even had your day saved by their efforts. They’re the DFW Airport Ambassadors. More than 300 strong, they volunteer their time and experience to make travel easier for those who fly to, from or through the airport.
If you’re searching for your gate, they’ve got you covered. If you’re looking for your ride, they’ll point you in the right direction. And if travel stress gets the best of you, they’ll greet you with a smile and a warm Texas hello.
The program was recently in the spotlight for all the right reasons, and it’s easy to see why. Powered by neighbors, friends, and familiar faces, these volunteers help millions of travelers each year – one question, one smile and one moment of kindness at a time.
For those looking for a way to make a difference and share a little Texas hospitality, the DFW Ambassador Volunteer program might just what you’re looking for. With just one volunteer shift a week, you can make an impact that soars far beyond the terminals.
