First Airside CES among U.S. Airports

DFW Airport will make history with the first airside Centralized Examination Station (CES) operated at any airport in the U.S. The new CES will be operated by dnata Cargo USA and will open on June 1.

Customs Border Protection (CBP) will assign over ten officers and three supervisors, including U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) officials to be stationed at the facility. The CES was created and designed to achieve greater efficiency in the allocation of CBP resources, which will increase speed and efficiency in clearing cross-border e-commerce and imports targeted for inspection.

DFW Airport and CBP will be hosting another briefing on the new CES facility, its procedures, processes, and operating requirements. Stay tuned for more details and the official announcement of the CES opening.
