In FY 2021, we started to grow the DFW Cargo Cloud community system. We had the Slot Booking application launched at a couple of ground handler locations, and we were seeing about 10-15 slots per week on average in September of 2021. As we close out FY 2022, we have rolled out an additional application, Digital Desk, which allows drivers to check-in for Slot Booking appointments via a tablet located in the front counter of the ground handler. The Digital Desk app is currently available at one ground handler, with plans to roll it out to the remaining facilities soon. In addition, Slot Bookings in September of 2022 averaged between 180-200 appointments booked per week. For FY 2023, be on the lookout for Freight Management which will allow truckers & forwarders to assign AWBs to slots in an automated way, as well as, have visibility into the status at the ground handler / airline.
