Dallas Fort Worth International Airport joins the Dallas community in mourning the loss of former Dallas Mayor Wes Wise. Mayor Wise sat on the DFW Airport Board from 1971 – 1976. As part of his tenure on the Board, he helped oversee the construction of DFW and the eventual opening of the Airport in 1974. We are grateful for Mayor Wise’s leadership as it greatly contributed to the success of DFW Airport.
