DFW’s Award Winning Concessions Program Announces Four New Concessions

DFW AIRPORT, Texas (April 17, 2025)

You’ll soon have even more ways to make the most of your time at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) as four new concessions have been approved and are moving into buildout. From delicious dining to gaming, specialty sweets and memorable souvenirs, these new offerings are designed with you in mind at the world’s third-busiest airport recently recognized for its Best Overall Concessions Program. The new arrivals include:

• Portillo’s (Terminal B-19): If you’re craving a taste of Chicago, Portillo’s brings its famous Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, cheese fries and decadent homemade chocolate cake and shakes to DFW. This is the beloved brand’s first airport location, so you can now enjoy a slice of Windy City flavor on the fly.
• Art-K-Texture (Terminal D-17): Perfect for souvenir hunters, Art-K-Texture offers a selection of unique, locally inspired gifts that will make great mementos of your stop at DFW. Whether you're searching for art, crafts, or other keepsakes, this spot offers something special to commemorate your travels.
• Freeflight Sweets (Terminal B-41): Satisfy your sweet tooth at Freeflight Sweets, offering an assortment of delectable treats perfect for indulging while waiting for your next flight. From candy to chocolates to packaged gifts, if you’re a sugar lover then this store is for you.
• Gate Escape (Terminal A Pier): For those looking to pass the time between flights, Gate Escape offers a variety of entertainment options, including gaming, sports viewing and streaming services, ensuring every minute waiting for your flight is well spent.

DFW currently has over 230 shopping and dining experiences with plans to nearly double this number over the next several years. This expansion demonstrates the airport’s commitment to providing world-class amenities, local products, and unique experiences so you can enjoy your time between gates. In March, five new concessions were added, followed by four more on April 3. Additional brands and concepts will be announced over time. So next time you’re traveling through, be sure to look around.
