The DFW Airport Police Department is a dynamic agency providing law enforcement coverage for a 27-square mile area in the heart of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.

DFW Airport Police patrols the central terminal area as well as the surrounding businesses and provides a myriad of law enforcement functions to millions of passengers, employees, and commuters.

Ready to Serve?

Police Qualifications & Eligibility

• 21 years of age
• US Citizen
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Texas Class C driver’s license or equivalent from another state

Education / Experience

Must meet one of the following:

• 2 years active duty military service with honorable or general under honorable conditions discharge
• 30 college hours
• Licensed out of state peace officer
• TCOLE licensed*

Ability

• Must be willing to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
