During Memorial Day weekend, our volunteers Carolyn Jones and Larry Crabtree went out of their way to assist a mobility impaired passenger who, when previously departing DFW, had difficulty negotiating several levels of stairs to reach the terminal gate, as there was no elevator. The passenger, having returned from her trip, advised her concern about climbing the parking garage stairs to reach her vehicle. While Carolyn waited with the customer, Larry retrieved his own vehicle and together they worked to get the passenger, her mobility walker and bags loaded in the car and delivered her to her vehicle in the upper level of the garage. We thank Larry and Carolyn for demonstrating a high level of care, compassion, and customer assistance. They truly went above and beyond to make a better day in someone’s life.
