From a customer: “A well-deserved cheer and shout out for Officer Hernandez at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. When my husband and I arrived there from a recent trip, our car battery was dead — no doubt from sitting in the sweltering heat the previous four days. I called a couple of services, but it was Officer Hernandez’s patrol stop that made all the difference. He stayed with us for nearly an hour, drove me to Terminal B and instructed the Uber driver to treat his “sister” well. He also offered to drive my husband to Walmart to buy a new battery and arranged for the needed two battery kits to restore our car’s function. He went above and beyond serving us with his generosity, patience and kindness. We often associate the police with the protection aspect of their motto, “To serve and protect,” and Officer Hernandez lives the “service” characteristic extremely well. We were so grateful and thankful for his above-and-beyond assistance.”
